Boli (also known as Puran Poli / Obbattu / Paruppu Poli) is a traditional South Indian sweet flatbread made especially during festivals and special occasions. It is prepared by stuffing a soft dough with a sweet filling made from chana dal (Bengal gram), jaggery or sugar, and flavored with cardamom.
